Η σαρκοφάγος της Πριγκίπισσας Θεοφανώς Σκλήραινας, ανηψιάς του Ιωάννη Τσιμισκή και αυτοκράτειρας της Αγίας Ρωμαϊκής Αυτοκρατορίας στον ναό του Αγίου Παντελεήμονα στην Κολωνία, που τον έχτισε η ίδια. 

Domina Theophanu imperatrix, uxor et mater imperatoris, quae huic ecclesiae Sancti Pantaleonis, munificenter cumulavit hic sepulcrum sibi consecravi iussit, summo honore coluit et rebus propriis.

The Lady Theophanu, empress, wife and mother of an emperor, who showed special favor to this church of St. Pantaleon, munificently provided and here ordered her own tomb to be consecrated, and cherished it with the highest honour and at her own expense.
